Yesterday, the WSJ reported the CAC is trying to nudge Didi toward listing in Hong Kong.
That’s weird, because: Didi tried that before, but failed.
Some background: Before pursuing a US IPO, Didi planned to go for an HK IPO in mid 2020 but the securities watchdog, CSRC, didn’t like the idea.
