China’s fiscal picture looked a little better in September.
General public budget revenue – the biggest chunk of government income – rose by 2.5% y/y, breaking a nine-month streak of declines.
This increase was driven by non-tax revenue, which surged 25.2% y/y, up from 8.8% growth in August.
