The central bank (PBoC) has a new boss.
On Saturday, the PBoC appointed the director of the foreign exchange regulator (SAFE), Pan Gongsheng, as its new Party secretary.
Pan will replace previous PBoC Party chief Guo Shuqing.
Pan is also set to take over as PBoC governor from Yi Gang (WSJ).
