Yesterday, China’s market regulator (SAMR) patted itself on the back for all the awesome anti-monopoly work it did in 2021.
According to a wrap-up released yesterday, last year the agency:
Issued anti-monopoly fines totalling RMB 23.586 billion
Dealt with 176 monopoly cases
